On September 19, 2016, Southface is holding an EarthCraft Builder Training at their SWEET Center in Atlanta. Completing this training is the first step to becoming a certified EarthCraft Builder. All projects pursuing an EarthCraft Certification must be completed by one of our certified builders.

Our Builder Trainings take a building science approach to high performance construction. Diving into the EarthCraft worksheet, each requirement and optional point will be thoroughly explained and discussed to help you better understand the science behind our standards. After passing the post-course exam, you will be prepared to build your first EarthCraft project!

Course attendees are eligible for CEUs from the following organizations: AIA – 7 LU, CSI 8 CEUs, GBCI – 8 hours, The Housing Institute CPHB program – 6 hours, BPI – 7 hours. The course is also approved under the rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors for 6 CEUs.
