On October 19, Southface will celebrate the EarthCraft Celebration of Excellence, an annual award ceremony that recognizes builders, architects, developers and contractors for their commitment to exceptional sustainable building design and performance. Founded by Southface and the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association in 1999, EarthCraft is a green building certification program that aims to combat the climate, water and energy challenges of the Southeast through green and sustainable construction. For the past 18 years, the program has certified more than 45,000 homes, offices and communities and has been seen as an industry leader in sustainable practices and building energy performance. As we gear up for an evening of celebration and achievement, we will be periodically highlighting past winners of EarthCraft excellence. For a complete list of past winners, please click here.
